Dear Guest Guest, It’s officially fall, which means leaves changing colors, pumpkin spice and everything nice, and some great shoulder season travel deals. Our industry recently received the hopeful announcement the U.S. will be opening its borders to vaccinated international travelers starting in November. It feels like we’ve been waiting quite awhile for this to come to fruition, and the time has finally come to welcome our international friends once again.

For the seasoned veterans of the industry, a work trip is just simply part of our job and while in many other industries, a luxurious trip is rare, for our industry, it is the norm. Member Spotlight: Ike High Officer of Events, Charleston | |
A South Carolina native, Ike received a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management from the University of South Carolina. Shortly thereafter, he began working for Explore Charleston in golf sales, and has since moved onto the Travel Industry and International markets. Ike has been working with Explore Charleston for almost 15 years and loves living in America's #1 city with his wife and 3 daughters unable to imagine living anywhere else! We are tour operators, tourism boards, hotels, cruise lines, airlines, marketing representation companies, consortia, transportation providers, travel journalists, and travel agencies. We are passionate and committed to the industry. We act professional in both social and work environments. We have a strong belief in the potential of the industry. We drive tourism on a global level. We are the future of the travel industry!
